COLOR LEVEL IV
COLOR LEVEL IV is an advanced INTERACTIVE LIVE ONLINE and IN-PERSON course 6 Tuesdays, 1 - 4pm, Studio4404, Sebastopol, California (Pacific) Time via Zoom.

This is a fast paced, intense course for students who have a basic understanding and experience with the color wheel and the three properties of COLOR——HUE, SATURATION AND VALUE and a working knowledge of how to create palettes and know ways of communicating with color. Please have experience doing the following: color mixing, painting and composing images with primary, monochromatic color, neutrals, complimentary colors, analogous colors and warm/cool colors, creating palettes that are harmonious, and understanding of the power of value in creating layers, etc. COLOR LEVEL IV starts where COLOR BASICS LEVEL III leaves off. This is a wonderful course to repeat.
You will:
Become more aware of how you live with color that is all around you
Learn and paint with palettes from the masters
Create palettes from nature
Use your own memories as a source to create moods, feelings and palettes
Slide shows on topics of discussion
How to create dynamic compositions with color
Use the potent language of emotions to communicate expressively
Explore a topic on color for your own unique uses
One-on-one and group instruction
Classes will be recorded for replay
Place to share artwork, slide shows and replays for 6 months after the end of the class

COST: $600 COLOR LEVEL IV
$500 for EXPLORING ABSTRACT ART MEMBERS, past and present
Materials fee of $35 for IN-STUDIO participants - check or cash due at first meeting
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
