Participants will gain a strong foundation, good habits and develop intuitive skills for creating abstract art. Great for anyone who is curious and wants to learn and create making abstract art. Each meeting is run as a classroom and not as time for actual painting. A topic is discussed with slide shows AND videos demonstrations. Exercises will be assigned. Students will ask questions and post their work on a Facebook page where I will check in frequently and make comments on the work. This course is an overview but goes into depth. Each student will be responsible for doing the assignments and providing their own art materials. A list of supplies will be furnished at the first class meeting. Each class is recorded and a link for the replay will be sent out each week.
