Abstract Art Workshops

Our In-Studio and Interactive Live-Online Abstract Art Workshops uniquely advance the participant in his/her own art making. Collaborative team teaching and small classes provide knowledge, demonstrations, and experiential learning with skilled professional artists. Our abstract art acrylic painting classes emphasize building confidence, trusting intuition, expressing fully and exploring the fundamentals of art. Exceptional one-on-one mentoring and supportive critiques. We support you!

MONTHLY MENTORING

Choose from the list of topics in the PDF File below and Suzanne will prepare three exercises for you in video form on the topic. (Suzanne will need 2 weeks to prepare the lessons) Then you will have most of the month to explore the topic and do the exercises. The last week of the month, you will book a one-on-one 50 minute session with Suzanne to go over the lessons and discuss your process, questions, concerns, etc.

Cost: $225 for one month, $1000 for 5 consecutive months

Cancellation Policy
Once purchased, the mentoring session(s) must be used within 6 months. Once you make an appointment, you must cancel 24 in advance otherwise you will be charged the session fee. There are no refunds.

****Mixed media (Canson) workbook 9” x 12” or 11” x 14” THIS IS A MUST!!

Acrylic paints - at least the following - cadmium yellow light, cadmium red medium, cobalt blue, white, black; any paints of your choice
Various sizes and styles of paint brushes of your choice
Drawing tools: Lyra graphite 9B, water soluble and water non-soluble, ebony Prismacolor pencil, black pastel or charcoal, eraser
Fixative
Fluid matt medium
Chip brushes - 1” and 2” (can be found at home depot)
Shapers (silicone) and scrapers (even an old credit card will do) of your choice
Palette knife
Brayer
rags
ruler, optional
glue stick
spray bottle

water bucket

tracing paper

palette paper

paper towels

Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting acrylic paint on.
