GENEROSITY, LOVE AND ART
Suzanne Jacquot
Seasons Greetings!
It seems crucial for our planet that we all open our hearts, share our joy and generosity, so that all may experience the warmth of humanity and the spirit of love during December, the season of giving.
I want to invite everyone to help Camp OKIZU rebuild their Sierra camp that burned down this last year. OKIZU is an organization that helps all members of families affected by childhood cancer to heal through peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational programs. OKIZU comes from the Sioux language and means unity, to come together, to heal from a hurt, to make whole.
My son was a cancer patient and without Camp OKIZU he had no place where he was truly accepted and to feel the joy and freedom of being a kid while going through treatment. And, I was also held and supported all the while by the staff.
I dedicate my newest body of smaller works, called STACKED, to supporting OKIZU. For every piece sold I will give 1/2 of the proceeds to this incredible organization. A BIG thank you to Lori Austin, Elizabeth Springs, Cathy Casteel who have contributed their support by purchasing an image from STACKED.
Please take a look at my online gallery and support this amazing work by dedicated people. STACKED
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
