THE VALUE OF COMMUNITY
Suzanne Jacquot
Grant says community provides a place were all artists can have a voice. share resources, network, and exchange knowledge which keeps artists vital and energized.
Suzanne finds value in community because it is a great place to learn, to get feedback from peers, and to talk about different perspectives of life.
As artists we are a unique group of people in society and community is a way to be connected to like-mined people, who care passionately about the arts. An artist community is a great place where artists can be seen and heard and get help to share our visions with the world. The larger community often looks to artists to visually express collectively relevant temperaments and thoughts to help them learn, feel, grow and unite.
How do you feel about being a part of an artist community and what do you want from it?
Invigorate and vitalize your art practice.....
