This is a fun-packed, experiental learning, online course for students who have a basic understanding and experience with the color wheel and the three properties of color——HUE, SATURATION AND VALUE. To get the most out of the course, you are comfortable and knowledgeable doing the following: color mixing, painting and composing images with primary, monochromatic color, neutrals, complimentary colors, analogous colors and warm/cool colors or have taken COLOR! COURSE. MORE COLOR! COURSE starts where COLOR! COURSE leaves off. This is a wonderful course to repeat.
You will learn:
How to use color more effectively to capture the attention and hold the attention of the viewer.
Go deeper into the use of neutrals and color limitations to make bolder images
Use the potent language of emotions to communicate expressively
Learn the importance of value
Learn how to create focus and depth through color
Learn how other artists take color to great heights
Slide shows on topics discussed
Place to share artwork with fellow participants
